I can’t stop thinkging about art.

This series of drawings made in 2017 during the first semester of my undergraduate thesis.
It is bitter sweet, and relatively embarassing  to look back on these drawings . It was a turbulant time. Of big physical and mental struggles, and trying to survive my undergraduate thesis.

I had broken my leg, badly, the weekend before I was to start school.

I kept a video diary, inspired by the blogs I would binge watch in bed, as I healed.

In no particular order

#4 Too shy to vlog in public, on a train back home.

My work process:
The light of my laptop screen, to use as a tracing board. I drew each video with pencil first, while the video was playing. It helped me stay loose, and so in the moment.
To add colour I used a screen shot from that same video. I continued to use the technique of tracing from my laptop screen, and matched pencil crayon colours to those which I saw on screen.
